Yes it was 103.3 for the Henhouse secret shows.
Early announcement, but some of my buddies heard the night before and lined up at 4am.
Pretty cool though. At 7 or so, they took your picture and gave you a Hip almost like backstage pass with your pick on it. That is then how you got into that nights show at the Showplace.
I may be a little off, but I think it said something like Trouble at the Showplace.
For IVL and M@W, 103.3 also did the suprise shows one in Buffalo, one in Rochester. But you had to win a pair of tix to each.

I have a feeling that you will have to win them again. The random drawing thing with the Hip Club was cool because everybody had a chance. If they use the Hip Club like they could we could all find ourselves at a small club show sooner than later.
If it is a matter of waiting in line somewhere, people in that specific area will have a good shot, especially with good communication over here!
Can't wait to hear what these Southern Ontario gigs are that are being talked about...

The ONLY other WAY I see as INCREASING your chances of getting in would be for the hardcore fans only. It's simple and a few people may be doing this already. If you really don't care who you go with then HOOK up with another HIPBASER on this thread and make a DEAL if 1 of you get's the tix you take the other and vice-versa - you may end up going with someone you don't know but who cares!
Any thoughts or ideas around this system? Anyone doing it already?
It doubles your chances right....

It has been awhile since anyone has posted here, but it is the same kind if idea...
I have a feeling the Hip may do a suprise gig in Toronto around the time of their ACC gig on November 26/04.
What does everyone (anyone?!) think? Possibility?
I LOVE the buddy system idea. I am never able to listen to the radio at work.....
Any thoughts?????
