What's the general opinion -- is Kingston the final show for the band?
I do find it odd that there's no Montreal or a Halifax, but if there had been plans for a second leg it would have been announced initially or now with the ticket fiasco. I also think, if this is the end as a touring band, Kingston makes sense as the last show. I guess it also depends on the mindset of the band and health.

Can't see the final show being anywhere but Kingston.

Depends. I could see a one-off appearance here, there or somewhere else, depending on Gord's health, and what the band wants to do. I mean, if they were offered a chance to play for the Queen again (as an example), would you not at least consider it? What if there's a big fundraiser? Hard to say.

All I can say is that I would love to see them play outdoors again, large venue huge crowd going insane. Im going to miss that.

don't know what the last song will be, but i would bet it end up being the longest show they have ever played, by a long shot.

My opinion - the plan is for this to be the last show. But this band has made us scratch our heads more than once. So a goodbye to Kingston regardless. But if he rallies and decides to do one offs I wouldn't be surprised. A long shot maybe. But as fitting as Kingston might be... You never know. The more the better as long as they can keep going and enjoy what they do. You can't have any sort of expectations with regard to the disease. Probably the short tour is realistic. But Gord may just say lets do another or two.

I've had "Use It Up" stuck in my head ever since the tour was announced.

Darn - oh man.
I have no clue what song they are going to end with in Kingston.
But until now I did not think I would really have a problem handling it.
I just listened to the latest Hipbase podcast (Rochester 2007) and the final 2 songs were Family Band followed by ABAC.
I pictured every family member up on that stage with them during family band and then staying for ABAC.
It was not easy sitting here with headphones on listening to that.
Kingston is going to be rough.
