I saw them at the Recher in 2004. Its a pretty decent venue and the adjoining bar was playing the hip the entire times leading up to the show.
If you're in the mid-atlantic, I'd suggest snagging tickets. :thumb:

there was a nice item in the Erie paper this morning announcing this show. Tragically Hip plans May 18 Warner show

Canadian rockers the Tragically Hip will perform at the Warner Theatre on May 18 at 7:30 p.m., promoter Live Nation announced Friday.
The Hip -- one of Canada's most popular and enduring bands -- released its 11th CD, "World Container," in Canada. The disc -- nominated for four Juno Awards, Canada's equivalent of the Grammys -- will get its belated U.S. release on Tuesday. The Hip has won a dozen Junos since 1990 and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2005.
This will be Tragically Hip's first show in Erie since the band drew a near sellout crowd in October 2000 at the Warner. The band also played the Grape Jam in North East in 1998.
This show could be a hot ticket. The band's two shows in Buffalo at Town Ballroom and at Cleveland's House of Blues are sold out. It also snagged three opening dates for the Who, including Monday in Chicago.
Tickets are $31.50 each and go on sale next Friday at the Tullio Arena box office, Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 452-4857 or 456-7070, and online at <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.ticketmaster.com">www.ticketmaster.com</a><!-- w -->.

Not sure when this show was added, but just noticed it on the list - 4/22. Very excited they'll be returning to the Chameleon after +/- 10 years!
