Wow the Sens follow up last nights 5-0 loss to Toronto with a 4-0 loss to Boston. Time for Murray to pull a Lou. I'll be shocked if Paddock is behind the bench the next Sens game.

you had to see this coming sens fans: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=230714&hubname=">http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=230714&hubname=</a><!-- m -->
a good move on ottawa's part, but it still wont be enough this team isnt tough enough and the goaltending is average at best. I just dont think anyone in the east is capable of taking down a western conference team in the finals this year.

As funny as it may sound, New Jersey could possibly be the best bet in the East.
I think I have to agree, and when you have Brodeur in net you always have a chance to win. If the Rangers could pull it together they could make it far, otherwise its wide open.

The Rangers are actually playing really well lately, they are 5-0-2 in their last 7, and 10-3-2 in their last 15. I think they have a shot at winning the East, but they aren't the favorites no. Boston & Buffalo are both playing really good lately too, so making the playoffs isn't even a given at this point.
Actually i don't know who i'd consider the favorite in the East right now. Ottawa is struggling, but they still have a really good team & Murray will more than likely get them back on track. It'll be interesting to see the Pens once Crosby is back, and with Hossa in the line-up...but i don't like their goaltending. New Jersey have the goaltender in Brodeur, so they have to be considered a threat.

I watched the Dallas Stars game last night, wow, what a debut for Brad Richards. 5 points, unreal. It wasn't like he was getting lucky assists either, 4 of the 5 were primary's, and the other was the direct result of his play (broke up a play in his own end, blew by the defensemen to create a 3-on-1, slide it over to Miettinen who dropped it back to Hagman who had pretty much an empty cage). Everyone of Brad's assists were really nice goals, i seen some of the nicest goals i've seen all season long in that game. The Stars looked impressive.
