Huge fan of The Doors and the man himself, when I signed up for the base it was my username of preference at the time, I had to add the number cause at the time it said there already was a LK on here, although Ive never seen him on here. And thats the story of my username.
I suppose I could of asked Lance to take the numbers away, I just never got around to it..hmm
Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”

Funny thing is that I LOVE The Doors also. I went to (yuk) Molson Amphitheater to see them couple years ago with Ian Astubry (Cult) singing for them. It was so good. And believe it or not YUP I named my first born after Jim.
My first born is named James Douglas Morrison (add my last name here) yup so many cant believe it but wtf back then I was smokin to much.

Hi everyone, I figured I'd reintroduce myself since I never really posted much when I first joined and it's been a while since I've been on the site. My name's Kelly and I'm from Maryland but go to university in Delaware. I've been to two shows so far (The Recher in 2004 and the free show in Pittsburgh). I'll be at the 9:30 club show tomorrow night and hopefully the show at The Recher later in May. Cheers!

Hi Kelly! It was nice sharing the DC experience with ya in the front row (I was standing beside you. Did we even introduce ourselves?) What an unbelievable show and weekend. I'm still pinching myself to make sure it was real. Hope to see you again one of these days (maybe they'll come back in October when they hit the states again?) I will remind Joanna to send you pix! Hello Everyone. My name is Michelle and I am new to Hipbase. I am 29 years old and I am from Plattsburgh, NY. I work for the family business and eventhough it can boring at times my schedule is very flexible which is nice. Although I am new to Hipbase, I have been a fan of the hip for a long time. Thankfully now that my kids are older I am able to go to more shows. I am flying from NY to CA to see the hip this October. That will be my 5th show this year and I vow to make it to as many shows as I can from now on. It has become somewhat of a hobby of mine (obessesion if you so choose) and I cant think of anything else I'd rather do with my free time. I am a hip fan for life!!!

Hey everyone,
The name's Swindley, originally from Niagara, now Kingston, ON. Been a Hip fan since my early teens, but never thought to frequent the boards. Better late than never. Hopefully I'll enjoy my stay, and hopefully you will all enjoy the random Hip spottings that a resident of Kingston can report on.

I love the Hip. I consider The Hip more of a religion than a band.

Hello everyone,
I've been a fan for many years. I've only seen the band live twice- the first time was at Richardson Stadium in Kingston about 15 years ago, and this past summer at Zwicks Park in Belleville. I'm now wondering why I waited so long to go to another show...it was truly one of the best concerts I've ever seen. :thumb:
