The NFL Thread-->Wimps need not enter!

I was afraid of that... Favre lighting it up against my Lions. Now a brilliant 6-2 start has given way to 6-5 and sliding hopes of making the playoffs. Oh well, this season still counts as progress for the Lions, and I'll have to hang on to that for now. The team still has a lot of holes to fill, but Marinelli and the coaching staff are doing some good things in establishing an identity and their vision into the team, now with some good drafting maybe the team can be turned around for good. Then the Lions will be truly back, instead of being the "Motor City Kitties" of recent vintage.

See: my avatar.

Now see: my team on a four-game winning streak, three winable games on the schedule and the very real chance of a Minnesota Viking playoff game this season. I'm very frigging excited.

A dead guy made the team... so I wouldn't be too proud that a Bills players made it.

Too soon?

Yikes. :?

Lizardking, I have to admit that Favre has proved me wrong this season. I still stand firm that Favre wasn't very good the last few seasons but this year, I dunno, I'm kind of shocked. He still throws up balls for grabs at times and the commentators let him off the hook by saying something like, "Oh, that's just Favre being Favre. Does anyone else love the game and smile as much as him? He looks like a kid out there." Overall, though, he's been money and I give him props.

Cferneyh, Romo has actually surprised me also. I can't deny that he's been a top 5 QB this season in the NFL.

I'm gonna say it-- Marshawn Lynch is the best player on the Bills. He still has to become a better blocker and work on a few things but, I believe he's their best player. Evans has regressed this season. Sure, his numbers would be better if the Bills had more threats at the WR position or if the he was playing with Brady or Manning, BUT he has dropped more passes than he should this season, his effort in going up for balls has been disappointing at times, and he just doesn't get open enough as he should.

You and me both. Now if he could just develop the common sense to keep his bimbo - and her creepy father - away during gameday.....

Well, on the bright side, Trent Edwards at least played very well in one of the four quarters versus the Giants. I guess that counts for something, right? :?
