I think I'd most like to see Vancouver go back to the black/orange/yellow hockey skate logo, i loved those sweaters. Here's something else I wouldn't mind seeing but I know it will never happen. The Canucks use 'Captain Canuck" as their logo.

I'd buy both the new Caps and new 'Nucks jerseys. Seriously. Those are both some sweet looking designs. I'd probably choose the hockey stick version of the Canucks one over the new "Johnny Canuck" or whatever he's called one, personally.

speaking of the Canucks...

Another source has told me that the the Lightning and the Canucks are "the next likely to pull off a blockbuster." The Lightning need D and a the Canucks need O. Pretty easy to connect those dots...One source, who I can never tell if he is speculating or giving me hints (he has done both), said "Look into a deal that would send Ohlund and the Cory Schneider to Tampa for Marty St Louis and a goalie prospect...maybe Kosheckin"

WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! what a trade that would be! my god!

I think the "New Uniform" page has taken over the NHL page...I just wanna bring it back.
Honestly, it hasn't been used in almost a month! crazy.

Well, The Sabres report for their physicals this Thursday.
Hockey is already here - damn.

Seriously doubt that trade happens. If it went down, it would be a steal for the Canucks.

the islanders are actually coming to summerside on the 22nd! well the assistant coach has ties to here, as does ted nolan

should be fun to watch them play an afternoon intra-squad game

So Gary Bettman does it again. My God he is stupid. I love the idea of having another outdoor game to try and get the NHL going in the States but look what day he picks.... January 1st! You think Americans all across the cou8ntry are going to tune into the Pens and Sabres game or watch their beloved College Bowl games? C'mon Gary, get your head out of your ass retard.

Speaking for myself, unless Penn State or Wisconsin get into one of the major New Year Day bowls, I'll be at this game in person if i can get tickets. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the #1 vs #2 bowl game on the 8th or 9th of January? I think they pushed it back so as not to compete with the rest of the major bowl games.

Guess the date didn't matter. Sabres/Penguins outside game sold out in 30 minutes. Look for returned tickets from the leauge if you want tickets close to the date..
Go Sabres

Apparently 25,000 of those tickets were held for Penguin fans, Leaf fans and of all things Blue Jay season ticket holders. Sure it sold out quick but Gary Bettman isn't trying to get more fans in the Buffalo/Pittsburgh cities I'm sure his goal was to get views across the U.S to tune in and I just can't see that happening with the College football games going on.
