I don't want no damn opening band!
Remember when opening bands used to get "Hip! Hip! Hipped!" off stage. I think there might be a danger of that here despite everyone's best intentions.
Ugh, that fucking DJ last year...

1. That DJ was the dumbest fucking thing and worse I have ever seen.
2. I still wanted his job.

Hey Rosetta!'s opener on Saturday night was Buck 65, who was just playing Bowie and Prince songs back to back. It felt like deja vu.

Lots of platinums available now.
Kinda makes me feel better about Friday. I will succeed.
Somehow.

I wonder if he'll be at one of the shows? Would like to meet him.

I'm willing to bet he will be at more than one as per usual.

Well, I got ridiculously lucky in pre-sale #2 for the 2nd Vancouver show. I couldn't try until my lunch break - an hour after the pre-sale started - and did so through the Live Nation phone app (as opposed to pre-sale #1: Ticketmaster.ca & on my computer). I immediately pulled up a side-stage ticket, 8 rows up.
The difference between the two pre-sales was astronomical, which I find odd.
I'm relieved I won't have to go ape-poopie at lunch on Friday. It'll likely be slim pickin's after an hour.
