Can I also ask that to stop me getting all unduly excited, that people, when mentioning place names that are also in the UK (like London, Peterborough etc) put a Ca or something after.
I always try to put a UK after my placenames to avoid confusion, and it would help me from continually thinking I have missed an important announcement,

well, given the band is from here and plays here all the time it might be fair to assume london etc are here unless there's a UK after it.

Aha, so we have the 'They're our band so screw the rest of you' response.

I guess I was just hoping for a bit less territorial marking when this is a board available to the rest of the world.
With any public forum, I find it is always a bit presumptuous to assume anything, as it can sometimes cause confusion and embarrasment.

It is also a degree of optimism on my part whenever I see 'London' announced.

And if you really want to, we could get into a 'Well we had it first' debate, which is admittedly a bit childish, but does give me the opportunity to stick out my tounge and go 'Nyaaaaa' which I really don't get much of a chance to do nowadays :-)
