Sweet case. It really does remind me of Phantom Power.
I was acutally just thinking of what it would look like. The way I visualized it, I saw a view of the world from far away- there's so much that could be done with that. It would be in like bubble wrap or something.
I dunno.
Anyway, I really like the cover, it looks pretty cool.

Yeah I like it a lot. It really caught my eye in a good way as soon as I looked at it. Pretty pumped to buy the new album.

I doubt that I have much to add that hasn't already been said...
However, I like the album cover, I like the fact that it lends itself to a cardboard case. There's something a bit more special about them, in my humble little opinion.
I am not so big on the "contents under pressure" bit. It seems so...contrived. Granted, it's just a cover. I shouldn't read so much in to it, I suppose.
Either way, visually, I likes.

It seems almost like the whole thing is making a point about commercialization or something... the TM after the title in big letters and what not. Is there maybe a little irony here, a little nod to Bob Rock's involvement?

Any predictions on what the actual CD will look like? My guess is that it will look similar to the earth that we are currently living on. This way the CD Packaging (in a cardboard box) is actually containing the "World" inside of it... Hence the title "World Container".

Great insight...the cd looking like a "world" makes total sense, I never thought of that.

i really do like it: simple,, but not underdone. I also kinda like the contents under pressure tag line.
But, im wondering if its a more elaborate cover idea. Before the Avocado by pearl jam was put out, they had the cover wrapped up, and only revealed it 2 or 3 days before. Im not saying that this is the way the hip is going here, but ya never know

I don't like the album cover. I think its too plain and boring. If I weren't a hip fan and were checking out albums in the store, this one probably wouldn't catch my eye. And I never would have associated them with an album cover of this type....there's usually a bit more going on on their covers.
But I do love the booklet. That's one of my favourite things about new hip albums...checking out the booklet and trying to decipher the drawings.
And the colours on the cd itself are pretty neat too.

its kinda funny, when I was buying the album in Future Shop, the girl ringing it through couldn't find the barcode to scan and it turned out to be the actual barcode that is part of the cover art. I think it looks cool, it kind of reminds me of some of the official bootleg packaging from the Pearl Jam 2000 tour. The booklet that comes with the c.d. looks great as well.
