Hip Public Hearings
#31

I was at a college hockey game in upstate NY last winter. (St.Lawrence/Yale) They played poets in between periods.

OK - not that I heard them out in public at a weird place.
On 97.7 HTZ out of St. Catherines - It is a "cover" weekend"
I was driving around - and on comes The Hip playing Train Kept a Rollin'.
Just never heard covers on the radio before - except for "history of music"
It was the version from Eat Me Completely.

I heard that as well this afternoon! I was just leaving the golf course and hopped in the car to hear that on the radio. My first thought was that I had a CD in, but I double checked and sure enough, it was HTZ FM!

They played the Hip twice on Saturday night at GM Place at the Canucks/Oilers game. They played Courage during the first period and they played In View during the 2nd intermission

TSN are using 50 Mission Cap for their "NHL on TSN" commercials.

I was on a university boat cruise going around Halifax Harbour on Saturday night, and they played The Darkest One. I thought it was cool, noone else really did.

...and that concludes today's pointless story.

Here that MAv... Chris is suggesting that I should tap into the vault and have my very own song of the day, and we shouldn't argue with Chris, because... I mean... he's Chris.

But speaking of hip public hearings...

Man are you in a pissy mood today! Feel free to take it out on me all you want Sean, but i's a waste of time and energy. Arguing on the internet is like sitting in a rocking chair; it's something to do but won't get you anywhere.

Woah..... you've COMPLETELY misinterpreted my posts! Rereading mine, I can tell that it can be easily misread. Why would I argue with you? I have nothing against you at all...

Seriously, I'm sorry about that. My post about you was really a joke I hope MAv would read.

I feel terrible that you think I'm angry at you for no reason whatsoever. Obviously forums are terrible at relaying tones of voice. Reread it in a lite manner fun way. I really hope you don't think I have anything against you.

No worries Sean; it just confused me. My post was a take on the KWT Rant... instead of an aquarium, you could have a blog.
