FYI...If you will need a place to stay I have a link to a couple of places in the village of lewiston. This is a very historic place and doesn't have a lot of hotels . If you need a cheap motel better to try Niagara Falls area about 10 minutes away . If you want to enjoy all this little village has to offer here is a link to a few motels/cottage rooms you can rent all within walking distance of everything including Artpark. I recommend coming early and enjoying the scenery and food/drinks that this place has to offer. I have seen many Hip shows over the years from small bars (200 people) to 50,000 and have not felt the excitement that I have for this show. It's will be in one of the most beautiful places that New York has to offer. For those of you with adventure make a reservation for The Whirlpool jet boat before coming as well.
PS-15,000 concert goers will increase the village population that day to 31,000 total.

This is what http://www.guitarfestival.org/schedule.asp has on the website about tickets.
The schedule of events, performers and how to purchase tickets
for 2006's Guitar Festival will be announced mid-April!
Which makes the April 10th announcement most likely this show.

It states they are on the mainstage which has 2400 seats and another 2000 on the outdoor hill not the larger outdoor arena that holds 15,000. If that's true this will be a great show on the smaller stage.

Didn't find the info on Artpark.net, but it is listed on Tickets.com. 12:00am huh? Seems like a wierd time. Is that a First-in-line time or what? I hope I'm not up late tonight for nothing!

And hey, it says the new album's coming out this year! I believe that's the latest new album news in awhile. Not to be disrespectful with my sarcasm, and I know they've been burned by a leaked album before, but we seriously need a new album update, even if it's just a line or two.

This part made me laugh: "the Hip with its searing blend of traditional, Stones-like rock and modern alternative leanings"
