Old Hip Club..Attn: MAv.
#31

Make me 6. I have a few boxes filled with my old vinyl...much of it in mint condition, although I haven't played any of it in quite some time.

We need a new needle for ours, but we listen to ours routinely! #7!

...and the first vinyl I ever purchased was 'Boston - Don't Look Back'. I can remember, mainly because I'm only 17, but we have literally hundreds of records here.

#8! Haven't used it in eons though, so who knows if it works anymore or if the needle is any good. Stored underneath it is a bunch of old vinyl records too. I should go through those and see what's there sometime....

Ok, well I have to admit, I gave my Father-in-law an unopened "Day for Night" record for christmas.

Still available at Maple btw, if you're interested.

Hey MAv, is it true that "Phantom Power" was also released on vinyl? I've never even seen it anywhere, or a picture of one or anything. You'd think one or two would pop up on eBay every now and then if they exist.

i am here to pitch an idea for the new hip club Big Grin ...i think it would be a great idea if they sold a limited number of vip tickets that were say $25 more than a normal admission, and do a meet & greet sort of thing either before or after a show where people can get some pics & sigs, if they desired, and maybe set up some sort of deal where the vip money goes to charity. i know the guys are pretty good when it comes to these things but i think it would be cool to help out local charities as they tour through different cities. thoughts?

I love the idea, I'd gladly pay the extra, its a win-win situation. Of course it all depends on what the band thinks, but its definitely a great idea.

Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”

What an awesome idea! Do you mean that only HipClub Members can buy these tickets?

without a doubt. i'd go over 25 myself, especially if it went to charity.
