I initially thought Hard Road by Sam Roberts too!! That might be because of the impending concert tonight but it might not.

I also like:

Rearviewmirror by Pearl Jam and Cherub Rock by the Pumpkins!

On a mix cd I have, there's a back-to-back shot of "Firestarter" by Prodigy and "The Getaway" by the Music -- two dangerous songs to drive to.

There's something kinda fun about blazing down the 401 through Toronto (during the five minute daily stretch when the construction shift changes) with Sam Roberts' Hot Metal Streaking Down the 401 blaring.

Cheers,

Pat

It's a Long Way to the Top - AC/DC

It just speaks to me, driving and that song, even though I can't drive yet. >_>

The Fat Of The Land is one of my favorite albums that I own. It will never get old. Great song choice! Touché!

I totally agree with Firestarter being a dangerous song to drive to....I am lucky to have never received a speeding ticket when that came out. For the last few weeks I seem to be having a similiar problem with Worldwide Suicide by PJ. That song just kicks my ass in a serious way.

I bought the new Buckcherry "15" today, wow, the time apart did them well. I was glad to hear they were getting back together, but didn't really now what to expect since i really didn't like Josh Todd's recent solo album at all...but 15 i love. Easily their best record to date, no question about it. That entire disc is great for driving.

I could picture myself enjoying Acadian dirftwood by The Band, or Walk by Blind Melon, or Let it Ride by BTO

....and if i was in the comfort and safety of my Plymouth perhaps i would crank "baby please dont go"

Well, if I'm looking to relax, Nightswimming by R.E.M. hands down. If I'm getting pumped with some friends, I'd have to make a choice: Get Free - The Vines, maybe some System of a Down, or Queens of the Stone Age.
