Hip at Edge102 at 3pm

just got back from the edge, it was great to talk to rob and gord they're such nice guys, gord was saying that they feel that the band is really tight and that they are filming the dvd tonight and will only use the toronto show, the dvd is not going to be a mix a variety of shows. they'll only release the dvd if it goes well tonight. sounds like there won't be to many hidden gems tonight but they didn't say to much about the setlist.

Also talked to gord about if they were to ever going to release some old unreleased hidden gems like get back again, blonde solid....he said that he actually talked to rob about that but it would be a lot of work to dig out all the old tapes (i quickly offered to send him my copies of the show) maybe there's still hope.

i talked to rob about the private show and that like tina said they're booked for 2004 but might be an option for 2005, obviously it's a lot of work to get a date, location, time...but hopefully it'll work out

gord said as for 2005 they're heading back down to the US and are thinking about possibly playing some canadian dates, rob said that hopefully they'll be playing some outdoor venues this summer across canada, maybe even a roadside type event.

got rob and gord to sign my Fully Completely vinyl album, also got a couple of pics with them, once again great guys, so down to earth and easy to talk to.

that's all for now,

Darnell

Just got in from the interview, talking with Rob and Gord. Made a request for Daredevil tomorrow night, Gord told me that was a good request, and said they'd have it on the setlist "for sure." So here's hoping....talked to Rob briefly about the Greatest Hits. He said they're less than thrilled about having to do it, and they're still bouncing ideas around, the predominant one being the box set idea, including radio hits, demos, rarities. As is the general consensus, a great bunch of guys. Looking forward to the show tonight...
