Caught the Moncton show last night. Fun to see Paul & Bobby in such a small venue. BIGVDOG: All three bands had one CD each for sale. Paul said his first album is "lost".

I went to the Peterborough gig last night. Nobody's been posting set lists yet, but here's last night's:

Fix This Head
Watching You
Table's Been Set
Can't Wait Anymore
Shattered Down
Capital Punishment (with Gord Sinclair - on acoustic guitar btw)
What The Hell I got (cover song led by Sinclair)
If I Were You
Retirement
Everything we Were
Common Ground
Not Guilty
Broken Road

Waiting on Train (written when he was 20 he said)
Leading Me Down
Rolling Stone

Nice treat to have Sinclair there.

If you've never been to a Paul show, and have an opportunity coming up - go. These are the most laid back and friendly gigs you can go to. It's like walking into a bar to see an old familiar friend. You feel right at home.

T-shirts and toques are available too btw.

No, it was more like 11:45. Pete Murray was up first (worth seeing), then Greg Ball (definitely worth seeing), then Paul.

Ouch, thank you.
I am going to a Sunday 9:30 show, so Monday is going to suck.

Ugh...I did not realize that Buffalo show was late (thought it was 07:00PM). I will never Confusedcratch: make it...Monday don't want to think about it.

The club and tickets state 07:00 PM for the Buffalo show. Two openers 09:30 (approx.) take stage time for Paul is cool. Posted a message at the site's FB page.

That's pretty much the same set as in ottawa last week, except no sinclair, and they did springsteen's 'brilliant disguise.' Pete Murray was on at 8, and Paul was on around 10. He was just hanging in the bar before the show talking to people, which was very cool of him. Great show...reminded me of how good a bar band the hip were before they got big.

I've posted opener Pete Murray's set from the Horseshoe to Dime for anyone interested.

The FM Lounge in Windsor provided the backdrop to a raucous and intimate show of about 50 music fans. All three acts and their support crew make a band of eleven brothers traveling from town to town on their tour bus. Each act interacted with the fans often during their sets. Pete Murray performed a nice acoustic set by himself and Greg Ball's band was energetic. Greg is a bit of a comedian who kept a funny banter going with the fans between songs. Paul's band played a great set of 16 songs in a 75 minute set. The songs off his two solo albums sound great live.

With each song the fans became more involved, cheering the band on. Paul tried to end his set after the thirteenth song when he laid his guitar down, but the fans wouldn't have it. Before he could step off stage, the fans were crying out for more, and he turned around and gave us three more tunes. Paul's band is very good and Robbie Baker's guitar licks are a wonderful addition to Paul's own lead guitar and lyrics. After the show all the different band members had a few beers and spoke with the fans. My wife and I are following the band to "Kitchy-Loo" tonight for what should be a rockin' college town show.

Paul's Waterloo, Ontario show took place in Maxwell's Music House. To say the club is tiny is an understatement. The show was sold out with less than 100 people jammed shoulder to shoulder in a downstairs live music venue located in a strip mall. The college students and locals in attendance were into all three acts, singing along and cheering throughout the night. There were some well known tapers at the show. This performance may or may not be available in the future.

This show was similar to the previous one I saw in Windsor the night before with my wife, Carolyn. Very laid back and fun! All the different band members mix with the fans before, during and after their set. My wife was speaking with Paul and Robbie after the Windsor show when she mentioned to them her first favorite rocker/band was Bruce Springsteen. Even though Paul never said anything to her, we both like to believe Paul slipped a Springsteen cover into the Waterloo show for her early love of Bruce.
