BIGVDOGG Wrote:Sorry no matches...................Im livid.Never had front Row up until almost today. To me this is almost unforgivable.Im a seasonal small business owner and this has already cost me more than the tickets.Im sicked and tired of the bullshit from Ticketmaster and Mavs shotty running of the site and shitty experiments gone wrong. If it were 1x I could move on but this happens almost everytime. How much more can a fan take? Now I have to change my postal code to hope that maybe they will be valid.grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

update-apparently presale tix are sold out.I feel bad pointing my anger in anyones direction especially after being reassured by Mav that I will be going no matter what, please understand my frustration.Ive been sick and unable to do these big outdoor shows anymore and look forward to these smaller shows.I want to take my 6 year old girl to her 1st Hip show and our trailer is less than hr from Cobourg,so I hope this works out.Alot of people were put on hold for 45 minutes only to be told presale was sold out so i know im not the only one near tears here.Tragic

funny thing ... Cobourg fans have never been blocked from buying Peterborough or Oshawa tickets. Confusedcratch:

WHERE did it say that the pre-sale was only open to Cobourg residents?

It says that for Saturday morning from 10-12 but NOWHERE did it state that for the presale.

Cannot believe a band who has been doing this nearly 30 years is still able to consistently fuck up these presales. I did not try for tickets this morning but empathize with all of you who did. Planning your morning around scoring tickets and wasting an hour (or more) due to unforseen issues seems to be the rule, not the exception.

We are lucky that they do these amazing small(er) venue shows like Kee to Bala, Coburg, Brockville, etc but it seems like the optimal way to distribute tickets for these shows should have been figured out long before 2013.

Cobourg Community Centre is located in Cobourg, Ontario. Sales to this event for the first two hours of the Onsale (May 4 10am - 12pm) will be restricted to residents of Cobourg and area. After this time period, anyone may purchase tickets. Residency will be based on credit card billing address. Orders by residents outside Cobourg and area will be canceled without notice and refunds given. :censored

I had to buy four tickets for this due to this shitshow. I'm only a half hour outside Cobourg, had 2nd row tickets lined up, restricted. I was told about the K0K 1C0 trick, so I ordered with those, then ordered another two by phone just in case the first ones were cancelled. Hope not, they're the better seats.

Hopefully they don't enforce the cancellation, seeing as they screwed over actual residents of Cobourg in the process. I know people IN TOWN that were restricted, and they're plenty mad.

The worst part is, I only needed one ticket.

MAv confirmed that none of the tickets will be cancelled if you switched you postal code to buy

Hi Tony, we reached out to TM specifically about this, so you should not have an issue.

MAv.

It's not just the Hip. Remember the Pearl Jam pre-sale fiasco from 2 years ago? It was such a clusterf--- that they ended up handing the operation over to Ticketbastard because PJ's tech people couldn't solve the issue. It seems to come with the territory these days, no matter how long the band has been around.
