I think it would have been announced already if it was happening.
Also, I'd even put money on the Dublin date being the last on the We Are The Same tour.
No New Years show and Dublin as they last show for a while were both pretty much 100% confirmed last night.

Ah well, maybe a couple of sparse summer festival dates or at the very least... absence makes the heart grow fonder.

If the Hip play a New Years show my vote is for Halifax. :thumb:
I don't agree. I'm from PEI, and I don't think the Maritimes get screwed at all. The Hip played Charlottetown in 2006, 2007, and 2008. I actually was wondering why they played here so much in recent times. It's not like they get much support around these parts. They probably had about 1000 fans in 2007. :what They played to less than 1500 in 2004 in Cape Breton. Halifax is the only Maritime province that The Hip draw decent crowds in an arena around these parts.

Fredericton was sold out when they came through last. It just sucks how the Aitken Center is so old...
And the amount of people at Charlottetown 2007 was absolutely unbelievable. The tiniest rink I've ever been in wasn't even full. *sigh
