Rare and Bonus Tracks - an inventory?
#31

Dana, have I ever told you how much I love you?

Is that a creepy thing to say? Smile

I'm in New Brunswick for the summer and only have my laptop. All my Hip stuff is on the desktop back in Missouri. Glad to have these rarities with me now.

I am sorry, but that is the ONE rule we try and follow with The Hip.
No trading of Hip released recordings.

Definitely no Blonde Solid on the live album that came with WATS.
Recorded in Belgium though, 1995 I think? Probably a different year than when Blonde Solid was played.

There is a version of Blonde Solid on the Vault #4 that came with WATS. It is during the Last of the Unplucked Gems. That is a sweet version, one of my favorites that gets played many times over.....The songs rolls into NOIS with the last Athabascan rant..

Further to what barny0055 said, it's not the song on it's own, it's just sort of jammed during Gems...

I don't know if these are the types of rarities we're listing, but I'll mention them anyway:

Bobcaygeon - KFOG Live From The Archives (Vol. 5)
Poets - KMTT On The Mountain (Vol. 6)

Ouch and Radio show are good unrealeased tunes. The version of Radio show from 1992-04-18 at the Horseshoe is a good one.

They* did Radio Show on the same "Swining on a Star" program that featured Get Back Again. Same quality is out there somewhere.

* "they" being Gord Downie and Paul.
