Opening song prediction??

First half - Acoustic
20 min break
Second half - Electric

The way this album is layed out they would have enough new songs in each set to pull it off. It's probably a pipe dream, but it would make things more interesting.
As cool as that would be, I think most casual fans (which probably make up the majority of people in the audience) would either hate it or think it's 'boring'. I'd be surprised to see them do it.

I would love to see:
1st set "one full album per night"
20 min break
2nd set "7 new songs 9 old songs"

That is 28 songs which is about the amount they should play for an "evening with"

I definately think that Love is a First would be the safe and obvious choice but I could also see them throwing us a curve ball too by opening with something like Coffee Girl or Maybe even a rarity stashed away like Inevitability of Death or something like it.

Wouldnt it be ballsy if they opened with Depression Suite?

I am thinking that for the 2nd set they will open up with The Depression Suite

Hush! jk

As most people, I figure it will be one of these three:
-Frozen In My Tracks
-Love Is A First
-Speed River

I love the opening of Skeleton Park, I think it would be a decent opener as well but I would have to imagine I'm alone in that lol.

Actually, I thought of Hush earlier, as The Hip's way of saying - OK, anything goes this time around.
That would be great. But I am probably dreaming.

Best Bets for openers...IMO after listening to the album about 30 times and seeing the live bath house thang....

1.Depression Suite... I wasn't sold on this until I seen them open the broadcast with it.
2.Exact Feeling... I think we have ALL really overlooked this powerful little tune....in concert I think it will really grow some wings!
3.Love is a First...first single and recognizable.....no doubt this will open many shows this year.

Non-WATS openers:

Music at Work
Grace Too
Gift Shop (with long organ solo intro before band comes out)
New Orleans is Sinking
Poets
