Okay, so this is the "In View" of the album? It sounds poppy as hell, as I can magically deduce from a 10 second clip of god knows what part of the song.

So far it looks like I have an opposite opinion from a lot of folks on Morning Moon and that little tidbit from Love Is A First... Morning Moon I am not a big fan of, but I am really digging what I hear of Love Is A First... The first think that came to mind was the line from Fanily Band...
One day I’ll make some honest rock n roll
Full of handclaps and gang vocals
Not so much gang vocals, but kinda a hand clap thing going on in that song. Looking forward to hearing the whole thing.

I'd like this song more if it wasn't for the backing vocals. They just seem awkwardly 80's to me. But the song itself isn't really nothing to sneeze at. Also, I can kind of understand that Pearl Jam reference, World Wide Sucide comes to mind the more i listen to it. Just those backing vocals man. Oh well, I geuss we'll find out in a few days

Ehhhhhhhhhhh, ill wait and see.
Im not totally digging the backing vocals solely for the reason that they sound a little too produced. Don't get me wrong im all for backing vocals.
I still cant wait for my first full run through of the album. You know, where you just lie back and play the whole thing all the way through. Like kmon every album has a very distinct sound.

it'll be good.
... i'm thinking 'luv (sic)' and 'the kids don't get it' had a baby and they named it 'love is a first'.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned every other song on that list being a radio single (at least I didn't see it in my skim through the comments).
Wondering if Love Is A First is the first song released to radio, which should happen "any day now" according to several stations. Could be an interesting choice.
Cheers,
Pat

Actually they just played the ringtune clip that was mentioned at the start of this thread. They did however say that the full song, which IS going to be the first single, will be played on monday. I love fm96... sometimes lol
When I tuned in the dj (i forget her name) said they played the song and said for anyone who missed it here is a clip, and they played a clip of the song. Unless i heard wrong, and i never listened to the ringtune so i dont know if it was the same as the clip that was played.. either way interesting tune.

If you're up at midnight, 97.7 Htz Fm is going to be playing the single tonight. If you're out of range, listen live at http://www.htzfm.com.
