To that end, I will be extending the deadline for submissions until further notice. I'd like to contribute, but i don't have a microphone or nothin'. Anyways, i'm no good at composing prose.

I certainly look forward to listening to it, though, and the guy who came up with this idea and everyone who does contribute deserves thanks.

One way in which submissions can be recorded is to film yourself in movie mode on a digital camera. Then, there are shareware programs which you can download (just run a quick Google search) that will convert the movie file into a .wav. It's really quite straightforward.

I can't speak for the project other than the fact that I contributed, but based on the limited number of contributions I have seen on the FTP site, it would seem as though there isn't enough songs for a compilation album. I hope this isn't the case and that there is more stuff that just isn't on the FTP. If so, come on guys...get involved with this as it's such a great idea and doesn't require much effort at all on our parts.

I'm sure there a more contributions than just that on the ftp. Personally, I didnt upload anything, but contributed as best I could. I really hope that I wasn't the only person to do this.
