I seem to remember it being called Stereo at one point too. I assumed it was from Rob's use of his "stereo" effects box during much of the song. I admit, when it first surfaced in the middle of NOIS, I had my doubts. Now, it's Top 5 at least. The intro last July at the HOB in Chicago had the crowd buzzing about Jim Ellison. So much meaning in there, great song!

I was looking at the setlist pictures from Rory's page and it is listed as Stereo on all the setlists I saw:

Good job Dana, I guess it's settled then.! It still wasn't what I had been thinking, but at least I can sleep again now.

Yeah but Best Friends sounds very familiar to me though.
I wonder if that is what "we" were calling it before we new the name - like maybe when it was a jam in NOIS instead of his its own song in the setlist.
