School of fish were the openers
Doug Gilmour scored the tying goal and set up the winner to beat out the Red Wings

The show was at University at Buffalo in '93.
It was the famed shoe incident, where someone chucked a shoe at Gord Downie and struck him.
End of show.
I still think they left to go watch the hockey game.

They did play Buffalo State, in 1990, as openers for Mighty Lemon Drops.

Strangely enough, of my 19 shows (13 of which were in Toronto), Fifty-Mission Cap was only played at my first and latest shows.

Its mind boggling how many Hip gigs you easterns are exposed too, in such a short period of time, your up to 19 gigs in 5 years Confusedhock: I'd be over 50+ for sure if i was living out east!

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!
