How are Towers?

I was at this show as well. It's been a few years since I've seen these guys. They still put on a great show.

I missed Towers Sean, so I can't say how they were.

Towers were good. A lot of energy and great stage presence. I felt their set was a bit too long though. By the end it all started sounding the same.

The 3 guys on guitar and bass all seemed to be about 6ft 6 and looked like they belonged in a frat. Their drummer looked out of place haha.

But, I was really disappointed with Bleeker cancelling. I understand they were sick so it had to happen but it's been so long that I've been looking forward to an opening band that much. I really like those guys and have never seen them live.

Ahh right on. You from London? I met a couple of big hip fans in line before the show.

The trews have always put on a good show. I unfortunately went alone because my girlfriend had the chance to go to Calgary for a week so she didn't make it and I couldn't find a replacement. Not sure if it was because of that or what, but this was one of my least favourite times I've seen them. That being said, they still killed it. One of my favourite shows is probably when I saw them play at western fair in 2014. Not a very big crowd and they stuck around after to talk and sign stuff.

I just moved here recently. Looks like there's some good shows coming up in the new year. Looking forward to seeing Sam Roberts again.

I found that the sound was a little too loud, but it was packed in there. I've never seen the Music Hall so full before.

Nice! I will be at Sam Roberts as well. I have tickets for Big Wreck, Matt Good and Mother Mother at the LMH as well. It's become one of my favourite venues.

Matt Anderson is making his rounds through Southern Ontario in March, grabbed tickets to a couple shows. If you have not had a chance to see him, I highly recommend it. A true vocal powerhouse.

I once saw Matt play with Symphony Nova Scotia. Fantastic show!

Going to see Garth Brooks with my wife and some friends. One of his nine shows in Edmonton. I'm not a big country music fan (though I like some alt-country...Sadies, Cuff the Duke), but I hear he puts on a helluva good show.

9ine shows? Holy fuck. That's insane.

I went to one of the four shows he did (over 3 days) in Ottawa this Spring.

It was amazing in awful embarrassing Trump-y kinda way. Garth was my first show when I was in 3rd grade. I had to revisit!

Saw him at one of the 6(?) shows in Saskatoon. Finally got to cross him off my bucketlist and I'll tell you he didn't disappoint. Just a total feel good show. Garth knows how to work the crowd. Unreal stage presence. Super cheezy a times but so damned fun! I don't even like country but it was more of a rock n roll show.

Got tickets today for U2 in Vancouver, and I'm also going to see Matthew Good I'm my town, Campbell River at a really small theatre. That should be a good show.

Have you seen Matt Good before??? He is pretty hit and miss unfortunately

I have enjoyed his intimate shows much more than the larger ones, so should be a good one for you
