Albums you've recently rediscovered

Dusted this gem off on Friday and I've been listening to it constantly. Always loved this album.

2. "Private Investigations" 6:47
3. "Industrial Disease" 5:50
4. "Love over Gold" 6:18
5. "It Never Rains" 8:00

Not a bad tune on here!

Still the best hard-rock album ever made.

I'll third that. If there was an iTunes-like counter for all the albums I've listened to over the course of my life, this would rank at the top of my "most played" list. I've owned and worn it out on both cassette tape and CD. I also like Use Your Illusion 1 and 2 a lot (despite the sprawling mess) and I've spent a bit of time with Chinese Democracy, but nothing beats Appetite!

Tony Wonder: I want you guys on my next DVD.

G.O.B.: You want us for Use Your Illusion?

Tony Wonder: Actually, some band has got the rights to that title, so I’m thinking like 'Use Your Illusion 2'.

Any Bloc Party fans here?

I got reacquainted with this album this weekend past:

Fantastic stuff. Bloc Party albums always get horrible reviews upon release and then are critically praised retrospectively it seems (just like Jane's Addiction).

Just picked this up on vinyl today. Chris de Burg became a little mushy/lame in the late 80's, but he had some killer stuff early on in his career. This is a classic.
