I honestly could care less about the coach of the year. As for Tootoo, i think it was a cheap shot by a cheap player & he deserved to be suspended. Not sure if should of gotten more than Janssen or not, but i have no problem with them giving him 5 games.

Rangers win a very close one, with Jaromir Jagr scoring the winner with 33 seconds left in the game. I'm very proud of how they are playing right now, with points in 10 of the last 11 games. 3 weeks ago i had all but given up on them making the playoffs, and now here they are tonight the 7th seed, and only 1 point behind 6th place Tampa Bay.
And the injuries continue to pile up, Martin Straka was hurt last game and is now out. The blueline is so banged up right now that they were forced to go and sign Jason Strudwick out of the Swiss Elite League this afternoon & he dressed for tonights game.

So when do other teams start calling games against the Oilers "guaranteed win" nights?

Colorado's next 2 games are against Edmonton, while the Flames next 2 are against Detroit & Nashville...plus Colorado & Calgary still have 2 head-to-head matchups left, so the West playoff picture could get very interesting as well.
As for the East, Montreal & Toronto are both in action tonight, and Tampa Bay & the NY Islanders play each other, which will be a huge game. Rick DiPietro is hoping to play, which will be a huge boost if he does. Mike Dunham has been horrible & i can't imagine the players having any confidence in him at all. Brendan Shanahan is going to play tomorrow night for the Rangers.

i'm not saying i want the oilers to intentionally drop games (not that its really necessary lately), but if we could lose to colarado...it'd be awesome.
GO AVS GO.
and yes, this is for all the flamer fans who have the poor sense to be kicking the oilers while they're down, and yet the phlegms have been sucking ass lately. its called karma, and i hope it bites you all in the ass hahahahaha!
see ya on the golf course!

ohh i'm just having some fun at the flames fans expense. its great to see 'em sweat hehe.
and i'm confused? why do you say its karma for the oilers to have half the team hurt or sick, including most of the veteran players, and have to resort to calling up kids who've never seen a day's action in the NHL?
seriously...for us to be only losing games by one goal to teams like vancouver, san jose, etc.. with half our line playing in their first few games in the nhl is a *miracle*. i for one am proud as ever to be an oil fan.
