Albums you've recently rediscovered

My basement band....

We recorded this in Denver, 1999. Recently went through some of my old work.

I was never a huge fan of 80's music, but now and again there was a good artist that came along. I never understood why Jack Green didn't make it bigger, had a great sound to him. This had a lot of great tunes on it.]
Just came by to say thanks for this. Since your recommendation, this album has been in rotation for me. I keep liking it more and more! Thanks Cochise!

Dusted off this early 90s gem this morning and gave it a spin. I'm happy to say it still holds up. Great record!

Ya its a soundtrack about a fictitious band, but its actually got some pretty solid tracks on it. There are a few songs that would fit right in with many songs from the 70's without anyone even knowing they weren't written until the late 90's for a movie. All Over The World, Flame Still Burns, some classic stuff right there, even if if they aren't truly classics. And who knew Bill Nighy could sing?!?!?

LOL, oh ya, I forgot about that!

Oh well, set that memory aside and give this a listen. Still Crazy is a classic movie, I think my favourite "music move" period. Well, just behind Spinal Tap that is, that's just a given.

After this post I gave this album a shot, and have even posted here how amazed I was by this album.

I bit the bullet today, and bought a vinyl copy of this off of eBay today! And the seller had another Jack Green album for sale, "Mystique" (haven't heard it yet)... so I grabbed that one two and combined the shipping.

I can't wait to drop the needle on this one. One of the best / one of my favourite albums I've heard in the last year!

Thanks again, Cochise!
