I'm not sure how accurate these numbers are, but according to it, the Rangers were a younger team than the Penguins.

Pittsburgh is definitely looking good, but I think their lack of experience might catch up with them in the final, especially if their opponent is Detroit.

Inexperience at this level really is only going to show up in the mental game. The Pens have really showed no signs of trouble so far.

Ottawa was a Toronto-caliber team that didn't quite manage to spiral out of playoff contention before the regular season put us out of their misery. No surprise that the Pens made short work of them. But NY was a much tougher opponent and they managed to put paid to them pretty quick, too. The series against the Flyers will be a tough test for them, but I don't think the Flyers have much hope.

I was being facetious. But their late season record, as someone pointed out at the time, had them winning about as many games as Toronto. They coasted into the playoffs on the basis of a strong start; with a 90-game season, they would have probably missed the playoffs.

They were the team voted "most likely to get swept" in this year's playoff yearbook.

All this is true. Their late season play was definitely Toronto-caliber. But I think their roster is a helluva lot stronger.

But they both suck.

I know the question has been asked a thousand times, but seriously...where does Don Cherry get his suits???? He's had some interesting ones to say the least the last couple weeks.
