saw and loved the recent hamilton show
crowd was hugely respectful which made the show better
got search party with the best quietest opening ever
didnt get new inhibitors which sucked
baltic knocked my socks off
guest fiddle player for preservation
short show. 1hr 15min
still love black camera and am noticing a standard way to end shows, with the heavy numbers
which i'd like to see adjusted one day/tour...
how about ending the show with laser beams?

Tonight is Halifax. I'm excited because it is probably the last show for a while. Too broke to attend shows nowadays.
I wish they'd do a two set show like they did back in May here, but im not holding hopes. Still going to be nice to see the Besnard Lakes finally.

Ended up getting into the Fredericton show.
Seemed like a solid Wintersleep show.
Caliber and Orca from the first album.
Zero from the second album.
Rest from New Inheritors & WTTNS.
Opened with Drunk on Aluminum.
Main set ended with Miasmal Smoke and the Yellow Bellied Freaks.
Encore of Orca then Weighty Ghost.

They did not mix the shows up one bit I'd imagine. Quote for quote, that is how our show was.

Just back from Seattle, where I saw Wintersleep at the Tractor on Wednesday night. Really great show, for the 75 of us or so who showed up. Can't remember setlist. Entire show sounded superb. Personal highlights were:
-- Caliber into Jaws of Life for the third and fourth songs of the night
-- intense Laser Beams
-- Danse to end the show
-- Watching the entire band battle with their ear monitors
-- And, of course, watching Loel at work on the drums
Quote of the night: "I'd do a shot of whiskey to celebrate if I could, but I understand I'd be incarcerated. Seriously." -- Paul
Introduced myself to a fairly legendary member of T.H.E Union, who was there with some fairly serious equipment. Wouldn't let me buy him a beer, but at least I got to thank him in person for all the epic Hip shows that live on my iPod.

Wintersleep is the musical guest tonight (Friday) on The Late show with David Letterman.

Letterman is a pretty big gig for these guys. Thanks for the heads up. Can't wait to see their performance!
