Has anyone heard the barn demos for Welcome to the Night Sky? They're quite interesting - much rawer than the album, as one might expect. I have no idea how they ended up on the internet, but I'm glad to hear them!

I saw Wintersleep in Manchester last night. It was a good show; the new songs sound really great live. Having some of the studio sheen knocked off them helped. They played most of the new album, with a few WTTNS songs thrown in too. Very much looking forward the London show!

The new album is excellent. I wasn't really digging it on first listen, but after a few spins it's definitely grown on me. I don't think it's as good as Welcome to the Night Sky, which was one of the best rock albums I'd heard in a long time. But it's a very solid effort from a great band. Can't wait to see these guys live again when they eventually hit western Canada.

It's good.
Their masterpiece is Untitled.

I bought the Postdata album a while back and missed out on the bonus tracks. I just picked up Blood Black on iTunes today after realizing it was available and know there is another bonus track Easter out there. I heard a live version here (http://article.wn.com/view/2010/01/25/P ... Their_Mom/) and REALLY like it. I know many of you guys are Wintersleep and Postdata fans here and was wondering if anyone might be able to help me locate a copy of this song - "Easter". I would buy it but it isn't available on iTunes. Thanks if anyone can help with this.
As for Wintersleep, picked up my pre-order of New Inheritors through Newbury Comics for 9.99 and it comes as an autographed copy, pretty pumped but will have to wait for the June 1st US release date...the stream on the site sounds incredible!
Thanks also for putting those barn demos up from Welcome to the Night Sky!!

Just got home from Wintersleep at the Paragon in Halifax. Boys oh boys.
They rocked and jammed two sets of music and a one song encore. Played every song of WTTNS and I am pretty sure ever song from New Inheritors. Not to mention Jaws of Life, an amazing 2nd set closer of Nerves Normal, Orca and completely crowd summoned encore of Danse Macabre.
That is a band that does so much better in smaller venues. It was by 4th time seeing them as a full band and that was by far the best. They just rocked the hell out of that stage.
Not to mention there was a girl in the front row with a sign saying "I POSTPONED BY MCATS FOR YOU" with her phone number at the top. Such a Haligonian band with such fans.
