"This is for Pet Engine...like to thank Pet Engine" as the beautiful beginning to Escape starts building.

Never heard of them before or since, but they opened up for the Hip on at least one show in Milwaukee (Dec. 1998).

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

I've seen a poster somewhere that showed DMB playing before the Hip at some festival in the 93-94ish.

Sheryl Crow also toured on ARA, so she could be included, and they have played a few shows with our lady peace as well.

Les Trois Accords and Maroon 5 played the same bill as The Hip in Moncton.

Also, 54-40 must have shared the stage with The Hip at some point. They thank The Hip in the liner notes to "Trusted by Millions".

Matt Good, The Trews, Chris Koster, Neko Case, Nathan Wiley(opened for Gord), Matthew Barber.

Alanis Morrissette and Barenaked Ladies among others from MUSIC WITHOUT BORDERS.

Change of Heart have played with them; Ian Blurton is now in C'mon.

CoH thank the Hip in the Tummysuckle liner, AND Gord appears on the album. I think they qualify.

In that Concert for Toronto event, I believe that Avril Lavigne, the Barenaked Ladies and Sum 41 were also on the bill. Also, during Live 8, I believe they were on the same broadcast as Pink Floyd, but lets not go overboard. I can sense a Six, no... Three degrees of Tragically Hip trivia game in the works...

Jeff Healey Band, Dalbello, Chalk Circle, Sass Jordan, National Velvet, Spoons, Sons of Freedom, Carole Pope, Jeffery Hatcher and the Big Beat, The Box, Lava Hay, Satallites, Pursuit of Happiness, The Northern Pikes, Grapes of Wrath, Spinal Tap, Leslie Spit Tree-O, Bootsauce, Slik Toxic, Amanda Marshall

Maybe this one from Red Rocks in 1993?

I lived out near Denver then and didn't go -- been kicking myself ever since.
