I can't belive that Stompin Tom, Gordie Johnson and Jeff Martin aren't on that list...wtf?
not to mention Skinny Puppy, Strapping Young Lad/Devin Townsend, or anything metal or punk?

even if you don't like the Tea Party, you have to respect Jeff Martin's songwriting ability...he can play instruments you (most likely) can't even pronounce!

Asshole or not..(ive heard both) The Tea Party and Jeff kicked ass. Very good songwriter, and one of the best live acts around..imo. Or at least they were anyway.

I own Splender Solis, Edges of Twilight, Transmission, Triptych, Interzone Mantras, and the new one. At one point the Tea Party were THE favourite band of mine, alongside the Hip. I don't like their latest effort but it wasn't horrible. Their perfomance on Much Music a few years ago (which spawned the video for Psychopomp) was nothing short of amazing IMO. I never got the chance to see them live unfortunately.
Having said that, I gotta give credit to Martin for his songrwriting and although I don't consider him a great songwriter, he deserves to be on the list anyway.
