I will be at the ACC tonight rooting on my Buffalo Sabres to victory over the very injury ridden and mediocre toronto maple leafs.

Cant win em all. Sabres were dominated in the opening 20 but still came back from a 2 goal deficit to tie. Sabres are also without Danny Briere and J.P. Dumont. There is no doubt that Buffalo is the superior team.

Sabres have a great YOUNG, FAST team and it would be a tight series if these 2 teams were to go at it right now for a best of 7...I love the fact that the Sabres have 4 ex-Sudbury Wolves too...Adam Mair, Jay McKee, Rory Fitzpatrick and Taylor Pyatt. Sabre fans have a lot to look forward to over the next several years.

Bad news...NHL.com is reporting that Briere may miss the entire season. I was looking forward to getting him back.

Woot! Leafs have won 6 in a row, and that was probably the best win of the bunch. Hate to see a division rival get a point at the same time, but give the Sabres credit, they are a good team and I was glad the Leafs took one off a team that has given them fits for the last few years.
