I have a tough time picturing her as anything other than "Clarice".

I seem to get that teeth dream all the time also. It kinda sucks when it happens.

My dreams are always disjointed and weird. And, I'm not talking "mildly" weird either. I'm talking "a Dalmation dog in a red dress singing like Edith Piaf while her friends play frisbee" weird. I'm not sure I want to know what the meaning is behind that.

Oh, that's a "red wine dream".

That kind of weird is very normal and common. My dreams are always morphing and changing, and of course in the dream it doesn't seem abnormal at all. Only when you wake up does it seem weird.

I have a reoccurring dream about an old house. It's a house I have never been in in real life, but it has all kinds of hidden passages and weird rooms, and inevitably I end up back in this house and go exploring in it. I always like this dream because by now I am so familiar with the house and I like all the little secrets it houses.

I have a few other reoccurring dreams. Even though I don't ski so much anymore (I used to a lot) I have tons of skiing dreams. I also have chase dreams a lot. I am being chased by somebody or something (I never actually see it/them). These are always suspensful dreams, and almost have a movie like drama to them, but they don't scare me.

Don't ever get duped into thinking that teeth falling out means one thing and one thing only...if you ever go and pick up a dream book at Chapters or wherever you will find that for the most part they have different descriptions of the same dreams and archetypes. This interpretation thing is generalization 101....it's interesting, don't get me wrong...it's just highly unreliable.

Recurring themes for me...teeth falling out, broken teeth, snakes (terrified of those things) tornados and me rocking out with the Hip.

Goulet!!!

Funny you should mention that. In the dream, I was drinking red wine.

I have this kind of dream all the time. Along with a recurring chase dream - The St. Lawrence River has become a salt flat, and the shoreline is lined with giant thorn bushes. I'm running down the salt flat trying to get away from a giant bowling ball... ala Indiana Jones.

Last night I had a bizarre Hip dream. As with most of my dreams, the chronology never flows...

I was going to a show at the Molson Amphitheatre, but once I got past the security I was at the Ontario Place forum (never been there) and I was in high school ( I'm 28 ) wearing my Grade 9 basketball jersey. I made my way to my seat - general admission and I took second row centre. I pulled out my minidisc and mics and started to set-up. Then two of my aunts showed up - both back from the dead!

Next thing I know is I'm out in the woods and I can hear music... new Tragically Hip music. I still have my recording gear so I tape it and put out a bootleg called, "The Tragically Hip are Kilowah!"

And that's when I woke up...

Along the same lines, I had a crazy cool Hip dream "heir soir".

Anyways, my school was having an assembly, and during assemblies, sometimes they play this semi-funny game where the put headphones on someone and the have to sing along with the song. So I was chosen to play this little game... and for some reason the back of our gym had giant theatre like curtains set up. Anyways, so I go up in front of these curtains and I'm handed a discman. So people at my school naturally know that I'm the biggest Hip fan in the school (Rothesay High School isnt too big, just about 500 kids... so the song comes on that I'm supposed to sing (the participants have no prior knowledge of the song), and the song is Blow At High Dough. Anyways, I sing along and people laugh and clap and have an all around jolly time. Then I get to "I ain't no movie star, but I can get behind anything"... And then at that moment a giant sonic boom of guitar emerges from behind me and the curtains drop... and theres the Hip! Gord sings the next "I can get behind anything!" at the perfect time in sync with the discman! It's a Tragically Hip surprise concert at my school! The whole school crowds into the "pit" and the place is going ape shit. Anyways, as it turns out this who thing isn't just completely random, camera crews rushed out and there were cameras hidden in the whole place, and this whole thing was a crazy promo that would air on Muchmore music or cbc or something. So the whole show was basically just to "punk" our whole school/me. They played not a full set, but a good 15 songs. And then the sound of some awful Starship song was being played ... "we can build this thing together..."
The Starship was my alarm. Damn I hate when good dreams are ruined. Anyways, for me, it's was too scrumtrelecent of a fictionous story/dream to not share with everyone here. :thumb:
