Hip to Release E-Single Video Tuesday
#16

chris Wrote:Apple is having a big event today, announcing all kind of cool stuff; here's a snippet from a Mac site that is reporting the details live:
Quote:...iTunes 6.0 will also feature video and the iTunes Music Store will feature Fairplay DRMed video downloads (big surprise, right?).
At launch over 2,000 music videos will be made available at a cost of $1.99 apiece. You can download iTunes 6.0 starting today.

If you go through itunes now you can access the video for "It Can't be Nashville Every Night". But nothing for the Poets E-Single yet.

Maybe it will just take a while to get the whole catalogue online. The anticipation is mounting!

Yes, okay. But these aren't live. I was under the impression that people would be sent an email of a live Poets performance, presumably the DVD concert.

Cheers,

This DVD is going to be amazing!

This TINY little iTunes video is far from being worth $2.29 though, but I can't wait for November 1st!

I'm watching it, and it reminds me a lot of the DVDs that I've worked on, only the picture and sound quality is so much better.

It's a cool treat to have, but not worth the $2.29... I don't see any of these digital video downloads being worth the price.

Is it possible for anyone who bought it to share with us other bums?

Come on... you know better than to ask that! This is a purchased item and sharing it would be like sharing copies of their albums.

Definitely a no-no.

Well I broke down & bought it cause I had to see it... :thumb: :thumb:

Well worth the $2+, but I can't see buying any standard videos of the Hip or any other bands through iTunes. I bet the picture looks great on one of those new video iPods, but on my computer screen when I increase the window, it looks crappy (unless I've done something wrong...I don't normally use quicktime)

Anyway, I'm glad I got the chance to see it...the DVD is going to be superb Smile
