Sep.11
Iraq (this one never really goes away)
War on terror
Spanish train bombing
SARS
West Nile
Tsunami
London Bombings
Katrina
Rita
??????-what next.

All these things point to a sign of the times so quite frankly nothing surprises me at this point, you can expect things to get worse every year.

being an "official Alien" in the US, I find it funny at how "alarmed" the media is about illegal immigrants...its not an overt thing like terrorism, but if they are trying to make a person seem "bad" or uncredible they usually bring up that they are "an illegal"...such as a murderer or somethiung like that, like the fact he killed someone isnt bad enough, but he "isnt American" and did a crime against an American, which is worse that an Amewrican hurting an American?...I hope that makes sense...its also nice bieng referred to as a "foreigner", and when I laugh the person is all apoligetic, "well, I dont mean 'that' type of foreigner..." whatever 'that' type is...

but yeah, the media sure does like to scare the public...I cant watch most news here (Fox gave me chest pain the first day I was in California), I read the cbc website and globeandmail.com for my news.

anyone know any other good sites for news?

Sorry buzz. I should've told you that complimenting anything I post in the Titanic Terrarium will produce a result similar to this.

But don't believe for a second that the media doesn't dictate what the masses will "demand", and do so in accordance with securing the largest portion of 'market share' possible.........
