What a way to pass the day...is it a coincidence that there are 24 hours in a day and 24 beers in a case?...hmmm...1st question- what to replace Fiddler's Green with? I supose Get Back Again would be a logical choice, but I am also wishing Thugs or Sherpa made the list....
Here is my personal list for the 1st disk so far:
2. Grace, Too- Gino 12/0794
3. My Music At Work- Boston 7/28/02
4. 38 Years Old- Hengelo 05/24/91
5. Gift Shop- Katana 11/29/96
6. Ahead By A Century
7. Vaccination Scar
8. Three Pistols
9. So Hard Done By
10. Fiddler's Green
11. Looking For A Place To Happen
12. Cordelia
13. "It's A Good Life If You Don't Weaken"
14. Blow At High Dough
15. Wheat Kings
16. 50 Mission Cap- Day for night promo (what show was this from?)
17. New Orleans Is Sinking- Pink Pop 05/06/95
18. Escape Is At Hand For The Travelin' Man Austin 10/14/00
Throw any standouts my way....

I guess Get Back Again would be a good replacement. But I like the idea of putting Thugs on it, I think it deserved to be on it, and I have a great version from Chicago 2002-07-18. If you go with it.
Cool idea by the way!

Titanic Terrarium from "Freaked In Sweden"...for two reasons.
1) The song itself sends goosebumps down my spine everytime I listen to it.
2) The Swedish dude you can hear yelling the Little Bones lyrics, right at the beginning...priceless.

Good call Billy, I love that song and that version from Sweden is top notch. :thumb:
It gives me goosebumps too when I hear it, such a killer opening.

Now, if Mav were any kind of guy, he'd delve into the "Hip Vault" and pull out the SDB copies of all these songs and release this compilation to Hipbasers.
...a guy can dream can't he?

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

I would be super stoked to get a live version of all their greatest hits! I really cannot contribute anything to helping make the list, i could vote a bit but I dont have much of the old hip bootlegs anymore (I have the three shows from live downloads and a few others (hwy grl suicide and killerwhaletank for example.).
anyway, great idea, I love it and look forward to seeing where this ends up going!

Killer project indeed
Great idea, bigger project would be to do like Pearl Jam fans and
have DVDs with best live versions, but that's another one for another day I think
