Yup, Gord Downie did play. They held a raffle on another night where locals could enter and win playing golf with Gord D and Gord S. They left right afterwards though, because of another commitment. I didn't get to meet him

It appears Sinclair plays golf lefty, bass righty? hmmm.

In Canada approxiamtely 30% of golfers play left handed, despite the majority of them being right handed. (I'm right handed, and play golf lefty.)

There are many theories about this, but most come down to the hockey influence: a young person in Canada usually learns to play hockey before golf, and the split from lefty to righty in hockey favours lefty. Adopting a hockey shot to a golf swing is a natural progression (proper form aside).

I am right handed, I play hockey left-handed, and gold right-handed. Its truly bizarre how the body works!

I think that they were/are all members at Cataraqui G&CC in Kingston.

Gord and Paul were featured in Ontario Golf Magazine and talked about who plays, how they play, where, etc...

My brother is another one of those rightys who used to play hockey & shoot lefty, and therefore golfs lefty. Must be a Canadian thing!
