Belinda the Liberal

j-monster Wrote:A disgusting act of treachery by a naive and incompetent politician.

She spoke earlier in her political career of wanting "principled government, based on a foundation of values." She said at that time her values included "honesty, respect and integrity". Well today she just flushed all of that down the toilet and sold herself out to Paul Martin and the "Lieberals", and showed to all of Canada that she has none of those qualities mentioned above.

In the long run the Conservatives will be better off with her defection, but right now it hurts because it greatly reduces the best chance they had to root out this corrupt government. Which makes the fact that Ms. Stronach took this action now to inflict maximum damage to the Conservatives all the more infuriating.

But I predict that most Canadians will see this for the traitorous act it is. By her actions she has effectively sealed the end of her political career, almost before it really began.

Spoken like a true conservative

I think that anyone you have on your "remove" list should be "unremoved" so that they can provide you with hours upon hours of constant chuckles which Darkest Shmuck provides on a consistent basis for me...god bless your idocy DC...

As far as Belinda goes...It bugs me that she parlayed her hundreds of millions of dollars...or should I say, daddy's hundreds of millions of dollars into a "political career" I guess that hasn't changed since the beginning of democracy though..the richest and most powerful get in...but there's something about the obscenely rich getting in that bugs me. All politics aside I must admit that I like her...she's got a soft spot in my heart as I worked for her at the Magna Golf Club in Aurora. She used to give me the "hey little boy, i bet ya I could show you a thing or two, Mrs. Robinson look ALL the time" I would have done it to...if it wasn't for her ex-husband, ex-olympic hero Johan Olaf "King" Koss lurking around...I missed my chance.

I'd rather read his comments than your inane, juvenile postings any day of the week.
As far as the situation with Belinda goes, I do agree she has probably sunk her political career, but I dare to suggest that she knows this and has martyred herself. If she can't see it, well, it'll happen anyways, and she'll be surprised.
And she is definitely one saucy momma.

I heard her breakup with Peter MacKay went something like this...

"Peter...it's over...I just whored myself out to the entire Liberal Party..."
