I'm surprised you're forgetting the championships the Bandits have won. Also, the Bisons... who are current champs.

I thought about them but I didnt want to hear the " lax and AAA baseball arent professional sports" replies.
But they are professional sports franchises... :?

I don't know if its the same thing, but yeah, '67 hurts. Especially since I was minus 5 years old.

Earlier today the lead headline at TSN.ca was Tragically Hip as the lead story was Daniella Briere missing the Worlds due to sore hip.

Hey that's pretty cool.

Bob McKenzie had one of his columns on that site recently called "Springtime in Vienna", didn't he? So I wonder if he had anything to do with that title?

Oh I know but alot of folks only consider NHL, NFL, NBA, and MLB as professional sports. Idiots all of em.

Since you didn't mention the other leagues until tommygun brought 'em up I'm guessing this includes you. Don't be so hard on yourself man!

Your act is getting tired. What would you have said if I cited the Bandits 92,93 and 96 championships and the Bisons AAA championship?

We won the AAA title in '91 or '92, I forget which, but I wouldn't call the Ottawa Lynx pro champs. Semi-pro maybe, but Triple A ball certainly doesn't hold up.

My act? It takes two to tango, sailor.

What would I have said? Pobably would have said I meant major professional leagues. Mind you, most Americans don't see the NHL as a major professional league.

Anyway, it was clear that the intent of my original comment was a dig at the Bills (who have obviously never won a Super Bowl - yippie for their AFL Championships) and the Sabres. If you take solace in lacrosse and minor league baseball, goodie for you. :thumb:

Are you even reading these posts? I didnt cite them originally because I knew what you would say about them not being professional. Most people in Buffalo certainly consider the NHL a professional sport so I dont see what you are getting at? What are your teams again?

Ummm, and did I say that your lacrosse league or AAA baseball isn't professional? No, I didn't. Are you even reading these posts?

Leafs
Cowboys (you know them well)
Jays

And I don't care for the NBA nor the WNBA. Nor do I care for professional lacrosse, minor league baseball, minor league hockey, or pro bowling. Nor do I care for the CFL.

Is this clear enough for you?

Please show me the post where I said the MLL and/or AAA baseball aren't professional sports leagues. Good luck!

Sabres - yeah, what a kickass team they are. When did they last make the playoffs?
Bills - As a Cowboys fan, I'd like to thank the Bills for being heavily involved with 2 of the 5 Super Bowls that my team has won. Seriously, thanks! I remember those games like they were yesterday.
Red Sox - Obviously I've got nothing here, but I will point out that the Jays have won more World Series in the previous 15 years than the Sox have. But still, I'd prefer to see the Sox beat the Yankees again this year.
