Does anyone else agree that Wild Mountain Honey has a Led Zepplin feel to it?

I would have to agree that Music @ Work is underrated, it has lost of great songs, but I think the majority lack the catchiness of the other albums. Anyway, my favourites include:
- Tiger the Lion,
- The Bastard,
- Sharks,
- Wild Mountain Honey,
- The Bear
I personally think Toronto # 4 is my least favourite Hip song ever

Mine is The Bear!

I have an amazing story about this song! As you may know, it is based on a true story bear attack which occured in Algonquin Park, a couple were killed by a bear and dragged into the woods.

Well, this past summer me and 4 friends went on a camping trip to Algonquin. We got talking about bear attacks and such on the drive up since the girls were kinda scared and what not. I knew about how there have been numerous bear attacks in the park, and the hip actually did a song about one. Well anyways, we got to the Lake Opeongo lodge, got our canoes and we were off. We were paddling around a bit at dusk trying to find a good site, and finally we came across this one cozy little island with a great campsite. I mean this place has an amazing view, huge 100x100 foot sand dune with water about 1 foot deep, and was just all around great. So anyways, were getting organized and such for dinner after setting up the tent, and one of the girls mentions we should suspend our food and cooler in a tree to make sure we wouldnt attract and bears to our site. So anyways, it was an amazing trip, everyone had a great time, and we left for home. A couple days after we were home I stumbled across some info on Algonquin bear attacks. And it turns out the couple who were killed and eaten by the bear that the song is about were camping on the same lake, same island, same campsite as us. Pretty freaky eh?

P.S. the good and bad songs on M@W are quite disinct from each other
the Good being all except freak turbulance, puttin down, train overnight and wild mountain honey. those songs could definately use some tweaking.

The Completists for it's hint of earlier Hip and Tiger the Lion because it just plain ROCKS.... it really blew me away the first time I heard it live.

Its very stupid that they've stopped playing Tiger live. Its one of their best songs.

this album seems to work in cycles...for me at least. when M@W first came out, i didnt know what to think. i knew it was different, but i neither liked it nor disliked it. after a couple weeks i started to like it a lot, then it kinda dropped off. i went through a period of time where i would make fun of it with other hip fans about how it is so weird, but i never hated it. lately, i have been listening to it and coming to the conclusion that it is (seriously) one of the best, if not the best hip album ever. it really draws you in, with its amazing lyrics and uniqueness. the proof is there; you can never seem to escape listening to it.

when i first heard tiger, i felt that it was the worst song on the disc. i thought it was stupid and i refused to listen to it. after about 3 months i realized that it was actually a good catchy song. now i cant get enough of it. it is certainly one of their best, and it should be played a lot more.

that being said,

1. Tiger
2. Sharks
3. Bear
(all of the animals are represented tonight)

Highway Girl, it was a brown bear that attacked them. I dont think there are other types of bears in the area. I have seen dozens of bears, they are generally harmless. When I was a kid I saw one really close when picking berries and on another occasion one lost its balance while rummaging through the garbage and tumbled through our front door at our Cottage.
