Seems to me, there are too many people in this country who had the shit scared out of them by 9/11, and are blindly following Bush. The invasion of Iraq was planned long before 9/11, and for that matter, before Bush was instilled into office (face it he wasn't elected). The hours after 9/11, when Bush was AWOL, were spent by the administration trying to figure out how they could make the horror work for them, and that's when Bush started banging his little war drum for Iraq. The Canadiens were right a long time ago when they declared him a moron, and the debates proved that.

Kerry is by no means an ideal candidate, but this really is a case of the lesser of 2 evils. 4 more years of this right wing bullshit not only threatens the US, but the entire world.

Ideally if Bush loses, the Republican party will split apart from the religious freaks and reorganize into something a little saner. Then the religious freaks can climb aboard a new Mayflower, and set sail for there own little eutopia, just like a long time ago.

Mais oui! This is precisely why if terrorists flew a plane into the Sears Tower on November 1, the President would be re-elected with a 70% share of the vote. The Spaniards completely overhauled their government when the same thing happened. I just think far too many Americans have forgotten what reality is in this world because they've isolated themselves at the time of a very tall tower by their feelings of superiority. SO many of them are petrified to imagine that their government is not all knowing and always right.

That's how dumb this country has become...the reality of it is that he should be thrown out because it "happened on his watch" for a second time, but, yes, he'd get reelected and we would immediately send troops to Alask to start drilling, and everyone would have to "invest" their Social Security funds by handing them over to Kenneth Lay, Martha Stewert, John Rigas, and other standout individuals and corporations ASAP.

It's not fair to lump Ken Lay and Martha Stewart in there with all the other corrupt businesspeople. After all, both of them pleaded not guilty. And it's not possible that Wall Street bigwigs would ever say something misleading, is it? :roll:
