The most outrageous Hip Related thing ever
#16

After seeing the Hummingbird show in October 2002, my friend named one of his 3 kittens Little Bones.

I have another friend that named their dog Cordelia.

I don't have any pets or children, and my bong doesn't have a name Big Grin

Friends of mine have a white, fluffy dog named Downie. When we saw the band down in Charlotte a few years back, we got to discussing that with the band members(GordD, GordS, Paul) and as they were signing various articles, Gord wrote on the inner book of my Road Apples, "Hey Bill, have you seen our dog? Gord"

I salivate at the thought of encounters like that. I know lots of people who have met them in small towns while they were just wandering around or whatever... Sad Funny story, though...

I used to have a bong named Joe. As in Joe Bong. It was manufactured by the JOB Rolling papers company and was labeled JOBONG, so it just sort of became Joe. Big Grin

Fu*#in' cops took it one night when I got pulled over. Sad

It was actually quite notorious, and even made an appearance in one of my high school newspaper comic strips once. :thumb:

Legendary I tell you!! I wonder where that thing is now? Confusedcratch:

Probably in some cops basement, filled with CRONIC :rambo:

Great stories, and names. :thumb: :thumb:

My wife and I got a Bichon Frise( little white fluffy dog ) back in '97. We saw the Hip in Charlotte NC at the Tremont Music Hall on the last night of the PP tour. We got to meet the guys out back after the show. While talking to Gord D. I told him we named our dog Downie. He wrote on the back of a peice of paper that I had "Your dog owes me money. G. Downie" We have it framed and hanging here in the computer room.

I know a couple cats named Cordelia. I also had a fish named Gordie at one point, it only made it a week or so though.

Wouldn't that had been horrible for your son cuz he was named after the guy who designed the Titanic and said it was unsinkable but it wasn't and hundreds of people were killed?
I'm not an expert but that would really suck.
