I taped that show from television. It was a pretty ragged version but that's what's to be expected when everyone jumps on stage together with guitars plugged everywhere. Kudos to Cockburn for his guitar though. Gord messed up the first part of the song too but it's all good.

"it's a new war what are you waiting for?"
"i'm not very good at this, i'm a pacifist"
"got my pen in my left hand, i'm gonna write me an honorarium (SP) tonight"

...not to mention, "He said I'm fabulously rich." How often has *that* happened in the last, uh, I don't even know how many years??

my hip moments would be:

in 99 on the PP tour, i was about to leave after they'd finished playing their 2nd encore, and i was about to go through the gate thingies (literally a step away from going through, keep in mind, they weren't letting people back in after they'd passed through) and all of a sudden i heard a massive roar from the crowd so i rushed back inside and got to my seat just in time to hear them play BLOW AT HIGH DOUGH! it was the first time i'd heard it live, and i was completely blown away (pardon the pun).

and...

not really a moment, but hearing them play Opiated when i saw them in 2000 was pretty friggin' cool.
