I look at this thing this way....
No matter what this guys deal is, or his true feelings towards gords vocal abilities...that fact is this..
Gord makes a pretty good living out of that unique voice of his while this dumb ass is sitting in front of his computer selling crap on e-bay and trying to get a rise out of us hipfans.
Seems to me Gords been pretty damn successful with the 3 or 4 notes the voice gods have given him........LOL.
I think the "called him gord in bed" theory is probably dead on!
Funny stuff

To me, Gord's voice has always been a unique plus. Elegant in the studio, energy on stage.
The guy who sings Get Back Again and the guy who belts out At the Heart of the Melt are two fantastic talents in one weird body.

Its funny to read how someone can hate Gords voice so bad, and yet my wife and I LOVE his voice. Its to the point now where the Hip have ruined us when it comes to listening to new bands because no one can touch Gord's unique vocals and lyrical abilities.
I have tried to get my friends into the 'Hip ( I live in the States) and they never stick with the them long enough to get used to them. I really think there is a sort of learning curve when it comes to the Hip. It reminds me of when I was first introduced to them and purchased Day for a Night, I wasn't sure if I liked them or not but I kept listening and listening and listening....then one day it just "clicked" and I realized I had stumbled upon some of the best music ever :jump
In fact I think thats what makes the Hip such a long lasting band for me is that it takes time to appreciate their work. With every new CD they put out it incredible how much you can dig out of their music over time.
