I wasn't including Harder Love and I agree that HEAL is his best so far. Tim seems like a pretty nice guy in general too, which I appreciate. I had a brief conversation with him on Twitter about Songs: Ohia, and although the hippie stoner mystic persona isn't really my thing he comes off as really genuine when discussing music or media that he likes.

Loving the album. Just read the credits....
... Ryan Adams is all over this ....
... fuck ... ? Like .... This is amazing. Is this a Ryan Adams album? Ugh... have to disconnect the two now somehow
Anyways. Fantastic record.

Haha yeah I had the same issue. Ultimately I decided it was better to support her by listening than shun him by not doing so.
"It's a tough situation and I felt a lot of things," Lewis told NME in an interview published today. "It has certainly been on my mind, but ultimately it's my record. They're my songs and this is a piece of the puzzle of my entire career."
"It sucks, man. It's really upsetting, but I do think that a conversation is occurring about power dynamics in music," she continued. "I think it's positive that we're having a dialogue, so let's have the dialogue openly and figure out a solution. Let's identify what isn't cool."

Anyone here listen to the new Wintersleep yet? It's pretty solid for the most part, but there are a couple of duds on there that just don't grab me at all. Fortunately the stronger songs are VERY good. This album probably would have been better if had they ditched two or three of the weaker songs and released it as an EP instead.
Best track by a country mile: The Lighthouse.

I like it a fair bit. The upbeat tone of Beneficiary still throws me off, but it's definitely a catchy song about genocide!
