I don't get this. Does that mean it'll be playing at TIFF Lightbox?

Perhaps released during TIFF festival like the PJ20 doc

Jeez I hope it comes out sooner than that.

As long as it's good, it'll be worth the wait. Banger Films does great work, so I'm cool with this taking as long it needs to take. The bar for Hip docs isn't terribly high (I'm looking at you Bobcaygeon doc), so my hope are high for this one! Make the film I've never seen, indeed.

Editing a film is hard work, and they apparently have hours upon hours of footage. No doubt it's gonna take them a while to finish it.

Can't wait to see this. Man, I teared up just watching the damn trailer. Looks like it will be an amazing film, but very difficult to watch, similar to the Spirit of the West doc that came out last year. That was a tough one.

I thought it was interesting there was a shot of them rehearsing. Guess this was planned right from the get go

Is my assumption that this is an official DVD release correct?

From the original press release:

Quote:The documentary event special will premiere exclusively across an array of Bell Media TV and on-demand platforms, including national pay service The Movie Network, leading specialty channel MUCH, and to a mass audience on Canada’s most-watched network, CTV, before moving exclusively to CraveTV.

I assume it'll also be released on DVD/Bluray eventually.
