For the Man, Machine, Poem tour the band seemed to go out of their way to not label it as the "final" or "last" Hip tour. Much was assumed and stated by the media however that this was the bands' farewell. A large scale tour going forward would be challenging, for obvious reasons, but do you ever foresee The Hip playing a live show, or shows again?

I toured the studio probably about 7 years ago now. If they give you the opportunity, definitely take a walk around. Lots to see in there. It is quite the place.

I am a big White Stripes fan but never got to see them. I always hoped they would reunite and play a show, but so many people I know always say they think that chapter is closed and they are okay with it. I can now say I understand what they mean. I was at a bunch of the shows on the MMP tour, including Kingston, and I think I am okay with that being the last time I ever see them. It was so special that I don't mind it being the last..

That being said, I think it's a pretty tough question to answer with Gord's health in control more than anything else. Maybe they would all agree that Kingston is just too special to follow up.

On the other hand....there is new music coming..

I would be interested and love to know if we could EVER expect a boxed set of Vinyl or even if they re-issue some of the rarities or press albums that never got the vinyl treatment

You should also ask if there is a possibility of a future Paul tour again! Was unbelievable to see those two on stage at the tiny Pepper's Pub in Saint John.

I just got home after one hell of a day, and 8 hours of driving. I am exhausted and slowly coming down from my high. :lol:

Hung out with Rob at his house in Kingston for a couple of hours and shot the shit about so many things. Took us into his studio and showed us his crazy guitar collection, and probably one of the coolest records I have ever seen. Just posted in the Dougie Stardust thread about it.

I am heading to bed, but I will reply to a few comments here tomorrow that Rob answered as well as explain my day in a bit more detail.
