Couldn't help but notice, 1st 6 albums 9/6, next 6 are 3/0 (regular sets/encore sets).
at least a dozen shows - Montreal - Ste.Adele - Verdun ARA - Highgate ARA - Kanata - Sugarbush - Portsmouth

Does anyone find it odd that nothing has been played from "In Violet Light" thus far considering the way the setlists have been constructed? I also would have thought "Nautical Disaster" would have reared it's head by now, alongside "Locked in the Trunk of a Car"- granted, both are staples, but they haven't shied away from playing the big songs while they treat us to so many wonderful deep cuts from their catalog.
As I watched the first setlists unfold, I thought perhaps a pattern would emerge that we would sort of be able to predict with regards to what albums would be represented night to night. That doesn't seem to be the case, and I, for one, am glad of that. I like that the band is playing the selections from the new record early in the set- I think the casual fan is more likely to pay attention to the new songs after they get a chunk of early material right at the start of the show. Overall, the song selection has been impeccable. Still, whither IVL?

had a bit of time to do the stats for the 3 shows i went to last week and had 49 different songs out of 75 total. that kicks ass.

Okay, so I am curious. What other band/artist does this? Pearl Jam or Springsteen? This is the big story if you ask me; not whether Gord is remembering lyrircs; or they are going to play more shows; or how tight they are playing.
They've played 70+ different songs during 8 shows!! This is epic.
I digress...what's left to play (within reason) - Nautical Disaster, Depression Suite, somthing from EP (Highway Girl), Here, in the Dark, Hot Mic.

Ween did three consecutive shows in New York recently where they never repeated a song and did over 30 songs each night. Not saying that makes Ween better. I love both bands.

in 2003, Pearl Jam played all of the songs they had rehearsed for the tour in a three-night run in Boston.
I think there was almost 100 songs over the three nights, if I remember correctly.
By night three, they realised they were behind schedule and had to do an acoustic pre-set before the opening band (sleater-kinney) to get all of the songs done!
